Broken Sunset
I go on a lot of hikes near my house in the hills of SF, and one summer evening it was the most insanely vibrant sunset. There was a couple sitting on a bench and I thought how they most likely would take a photo of the romantic moment only to look back at it after breaking up differently. That is how I got the idea for a broken sunset. Again, a sketch with pencils and pens gave it an energetic look. And so I decided to do it with paint with mixed results. I like simple uncomplicated stuff, so this is too crazy for my liking but I am glad I saw it through duplicating a pencil/pen line drawing.
