Broken Sunrise
Since I did a broken sunset, I had to do a broken sunrise. This time I decided against using lines for the sky and did a gradient. Sunrises are paler and more blended than sunsets after I spent a lot of time photographing them in the morning. This really assaults the eyes with the orangy red against the blue waves. I think Rothko really understood how colors next to one another can have a powerful visual impact and after I did this I know it can be done.
