Sun broken and badly reassembled
Going back to planets again. I visualized if someone had broken the sun and tried to put it back together but was too stupid to do it right. This is my image of that in very simplistic forms. These are four pieces each hung individually. Since I had done two pieces, I wanted to try to do more breaks. The number 4 that shows up was a surprise and it totally makes sense since there are four pieces. I will be doing a bunch like this - next is a blue moon, then the earth, mars...I like the shapes and such. Sort of like Mondrian with his forms, but not what I was thinking about until after I did it. I guess a lifetime of art exposure has all kinds of things hidden in my brain.
